There are pending plans for the addition I270 Exit 12 for Watkins Mill Road, which would comprise of clover leaf
style exit/entrance ramps, i.e. exit/entrance to Watkins Mill Road from I270 North and I270 South. There also are pending
plans for the development of the Casey East property (West of Maryland Route 355 at Watkins Mill). The updated Casey East
development proposal ( http://www.watkinsmilltc.com ) was approved by the City
of Gaithersburg City Council a the Monday June 19th, 2006 meeting. There are pending plans to develop the Casey West property (located West of I270 at Watkins Mill West) plus development
plans for the property at the corner of Travis Avenue and Maryland Route 355 (adjacent to Lake Forest Animal Hospital).
